Robert and Mary have both enjoyed language work from a young age. Robert lived in Catalonia as a small boy and then went to school in Brussels from age 5 to age 7. At Grammar School, he studied French, Latin and German and then taught himself Italian in his teens. As a tutor, he has helped students with all these languages with the addition of some Russian and Portuguese.
Mary was fortunate to start learning French in school at the age of 9. At secondary school she did very well in the language and gained much satisfaction too from studying Latin and Russian. She continued with French at university. (As a graduate she worked for 13 years as a computer programmer where her language skills were put to good use in learning several programming languages.)
Whilst Robert enjoys the Italian language most of all, he is able to turn his hand to most requests that come his way. Mary tutors French to GCSE.
